More About teaching position
Excel in Key Subjects is anindependent Saturday School and we have been offering teaching in small classes for about a decade. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9am until around 4pm. Each teacher works between 3 hours to 7 hours on each day, depending on their timetable. There is usually the possibility of either a half day or a full day of teaching. Our students are highly motivated and have very supportive parents. Each AS or A2 lesson lasts for 90 minutes and 60 minutes for GCSE. We provide classes on Saturdays during term time and also Intensive Revision during School holidays – Easter break is particularly popular. The Saturday programmes are separate from the school holiday programme and a teacher can do either or both. Our academic year usually starts in the middle of September and ends in early June and there is usually no teaching on Saturdays during school holidays. The commitment to focus on each individual student and help them to achieve the highest grade of which they are capable of is vital.

We are also launching a new, separate remote tuition provision this autumn, for which lessons are conducted mainly online and by telephone. Please indicate in your e-mail if you are also interested in this role, as well as attaching your CV.
