Science
A challenging and rewarding subject, Science is one of the most sought after qualifications by Colleges, Universities and Employers. Science encompasses the workings of the entire Universe, from the Physics of the Big Bang to the composition of tiniest cells that make up our own bodies. Many students will find this subject fascinating; however there is a lot to learn and individuals may struggle with one aspect or another. Whether a student’s weaknesses lie in Biology, Physics, Chemistry or a mixture, we are able to focus on the areas that require the greatest attention for each student. We tutor for KS3 Science and Single, Double and Triple Award in GCSE Science.
Our classes are designed to provide an ideal learning environment, with highly qualified Science teachers motivating and encouraging students to succeed. We minimise confusion and under performance by instilling confidence in each student that they are skilled in examination techniques.
Our Science classes:
- We teach Single, Double and Triple Award
- We aim to have about five to six students in each class
- Each Science lesson includes Biology, Chemistry and Physics, allocating approximately the same amount of time to each one.
- As the vast majority of students in the country are taking the Double Award Science paper, classes concentrate on the Double Award Higher Tier. However, we also offer students sitting Separate Science (Triple Award) GCSE examinations additional time in order to cover the extra material they require.
- Practical demonstrations of scientific experiments are simulated with computer software.
