Combined Science
Combined Science is taken, as you would expect, in addition to Single Science and therefore forms what we refer to as the Double Award. Combined Science is generally taken in Year 11, following on from Single Science in Year 10. Whereas Single Science covers the basics, this subject goes into far greater detail and can be quite demanding on students. Students that did well in there initial Science GCSE may find Combined Science surprisingly difficult.
