A Level Revision Part 1
In this interview, Mr. Musty sat down to speak to one of Excel in Key Subject’s former pupils, Esma Akkilic. The main focus of the conversation was about A Level revision and how best to plan and prepare for A Level exams. Esma is a star pupil! After obtain 12 A* grades at GCSE, she went on to achieve four A grades at AS level, making her the perfect student for this discussion.
The first half of the conversation focussed on issues such as:
- The different between GCSE and A Level revision
- The discipline and self sufficiency needed during A Levels
- Choosing your own A Level subjects
The second half of the interview covers the following topics:
- The A Level revision mindset
- Timetabling and organising your time for revision
- The need for consistency when studying
- Working with regular breaks, 90 minutes with 15 minute breaks
- Avoiding distractions during revision
